Blurayhin
Blurayhin is a compact disc (CD) format that was introduced in the late 1990s as an alternative to the standard CD. It was developed by a group of companies, including Philips, Sony, and Microsoft, with the aim of providing a higher storage capacity and better sound quality than the standard CD. The Blurayhin format uses a different physical structure and a higher data density, allowing it to store up to 1.2 gigabytes of data, compared to the standard CD's 700 megabytes. This increased capacity made it suitable for storing high-resolution audio files, video files, and other large data files. However, the Blurayhin format was not widely adopted due to compatibility issues and the rise of other digital media formats, such as DVDs and later, Blu-ray discs. Despite its limited commercial success, Blurayhin remains a notable example of early efforts to improve upon existing digital media technologies.
