Binucleair

Binucleair is a term used to describe a cell or organism that possesses two nuclei. This condition can arise through various biological processes and is found in a range of life forms, from single-celled organisms to certain specialized cells within multicellular organisms.

In some microorganisms, such as certain protozoa and fungi, the presence of two nuclei can be a normal and stable part of their life cycle. These nuclei may be genetically identical or different, and their roles can vary. For example, one nucleus might be involved in vegetative functions, while the other is dedicated to reproduction.
