Bifurkációk

Bifurkációk refer to a concept found in various scientific and mathematical fields, particularly in the study of dynamical systems. At its core, a bifurcation occurs when a small, smooth change in a parameter of a system leads to a sudden qualitative change in its behavior or the number of its steady states. Imagine a river that flows smoothly, and then at a certain point, it splits into two distinct paths. This splitting is analogous to a bifurcation event.

In dynamical systems, bifurcations are often visualized as changes in the number or stability of equilibrium points. For instance, as a parameter is slowly varied, a single stable equilibrium might become unstable and then split into two new stable equilibria. This transition is a bifurcation.
