Berlinn
Berlinn is a fictional settlement described in the epic poem Beowulf. It is believed to be located in what is now modern-day Denmark. In the poem, Berlinn is mentioned as the home of the Scyldings, a royal line that includes Hrothgar, the king of the Danes. Hrothgar builds a magnificent mead-hall there, called Heorot, which becomes the center of his kingdom and a symbol of his power and prosperity.
