Benalmádena is a municipality in Andalusia, Spain, located on the Costa del Sol in the province of Málaga. It is situated about 12 kilometers west of Málaga Airport. The municipality is divided into three distinct areas: Benalmádena Pueblo, the traditional white-washed village perched on a hillside; Benalmádena Costa, the coastal resort area; and Arroyo de la Miel, a more urban center located between the other two.
