Bbuls are a fictional species originating from the planet Xylos in the "Chronicles of Xylos" series. These creatures are characterized by their bioluminescent skin, which glows in various colors depending on their mood and environment. Bbuls possess a unique symbiotic relationship with Xylos's flora, particularly the "Glow-Moss," which they cultivate and consume for sustenance and to enhance their natural luminescence.

Physically, Bbuls are small, roughly human-sized, with slender limbs and large, expressive eyes that are adapted to the dim light of their homeworld. They communicate through a complex system of vocalizations and light patterns emitted from their skin.
