Balbo
Balbo is an Italian surname. It is most commonly associated with Italo Balbo (1896–1940), a prominent Italian fascist politician, statesman, and aviator. Balbo was a leading figure in the development of Italian aviation and held high-level responsibilities related to aviation policy in the 1930s. He also served as a colonial administrator, including a period as Governor-General of Libya, where he oversaw aspects of the regime’s colonial governance and modernization efforts.
