BSV
Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) is a cryptocurrency that emerged in 2018 after a split within Bitcoin Cash, itself a fork of Bitcoin. Proponents argue that BSV aims to preserve the original design and rules of Bitcoin as described by Satoshi Nakamoto, with a focus on on-chain scalability and enterprise-ready use cases. The project is primarily associated with the company nChain and its leadership, including Craig Wright, who has publicly claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto; those claims are disputed by much of the broader cryptocurrency community. BSV’s development is guided by a group that advocates restoring what they see as Bitcoin’s original protocol and increasing on-chain capacity.
Technically, BSV uses a Bitcoin-like blockchain with a Proof of Work consensus that relies on the SHA-256
