Atenisma
Atenism, also known as the cult of Aten, was an ancient Egyptian religious reform attributed to Pharaoh Akhenaten of the 18th Dynasty, who reigned approximately 1353–1336 BCE. The movement centered on Aten, the sun disk, presented as the primary deity in a form that scholars describe as monotheistic or monolatrous. The king and his family were depicted as receiving life directly from Aten, emphasizing a close relationship between the sun god and the royal household.
