Arue
Arue is a commune in the French overseas collectivity of French Polynesia, located in the Windward Islands, part of the Society Islands. It is situated on the island of Huahine Nui, one of the two main islands of Huahine. The commune encompasses the northern and eastern parts of Huahine Nui, including the main settlement of Fare. Arue's geography is characterized by a mix of coastal plains and mountainous interiors, with lush vegetation common to the tropical climate.
