Aminoaryls
Aminoaryls are organic compounds characterized by the presence of both an amino group (-NH2) and an aryl group. An aryl group is a functional group derived from an aromatic ring, such as a phenyl group from benzene. Therefore, aminoaryls are essentially aromatic amines. The amino group is directly attached to the aromatic ring. Common examples include aniline (aminobenzene), which is the simplest aminoaryl, and its substituted derivatives.
The chemical properties of aminoaryls are influenced by both the electron-donating nature of the amino group
Aminoaryls are important intermediates in the synthesis of a vast array of organic molecules, including dyes,
