Amauri

Amauri Carvalho de Oliveira, commonly known as Amauri, is a Brazilian-born Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Born in Brazil, he moved to Europe to pursue his professional career and spent the bulk of his playing days in Italy’s top division. In 2006 he acquired Italian citizenship, and he later earned appearances for the Italy national team, contributing as a forward at the international level in the late 2000s.

Amauri was known for his combination of physical presence, aerial ability, and finishing. Throughout his club career in Serie A, he contributed goals and hold-up play for several teams, reflecting the mobility that characterized many forwards at the time.
