Alnwick

Alnwick is a market town and the county town of Northumberland in North East England. It lies on the River Aln and is situated approximately 34 miles (55 km) north of Newcastle upon Tyne. The town's most prominent landmark is Alnwick Castle, a large, partially ruined medieval fortress that has been the ancestral home of the Percy family, the Dukes of Northumberland, for centuries.
