Allargato

Allargato is an Italian term that functions as an adjective and as the past participle of the verb allargare. It means widened, enlarged, or extended, and is used to describe things whose size, scope, or duration has been increased.

In Italian grammar, allargato agrees in gender and number with the noun it modifies. The masculine singular is allargato, the feminine singular allargata, the masculine plural allargati, and the feminine plural allargate. This morphological variation allows the word to fit naturally into ordinary sentences such as spazio allargato (expanded space) or programma allargato (broadened program).

Usage of allargato tends to be generic and descriptive. It can apply to physical dimensions, such as a table or room that has been enlarged, as well as to more abstract concepts like timeframes, opportunities, or horizons that have been extended.
