Albanezen refers to the historical Albanian population inhabiting the region of Apulia in southern Italy. Following the Ottoman invasion of Albania in the 15th century, a significant number of Albanians, known as Arbëreshë, migrated to the Kingdom of Naples and Sicily, which included Apulia. They settled in various villages, establishing distinct communities that have largely preserved their language, customs, and traditions over centuries.
