Agistae
Agistae is a genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, commonly known as the daisy family. The genus was described by Carl Linnaeus in 1753. Plants in the genus Agistae are native to Europe and Asia. They are herbaceous perennial plants that typically grow in meadows and pastures. The flowers are usually white or pink with yellow centers. The fruit is an achene. Agistae species are grown as ornamental plants in gardens and as cut flowers. They are also used in traditional medicine. Some species of Agistae are considered weeds.
