Agalev

Agalev was a Flemish political party in Belgium that existed from the early 1980s until the early 2000s. It emerged from environmental movements and civic activism with the aim of bringing green politics into formal electoral politics and functioned as the Flemish counterpart to the French-speaking Ecolo. The party positioned itself within the broader European green movement and pursued a platform centered on environmental protection, sustainable development, and participatory democracy.
