Adverbiální

Adverbiální is a linguistic term used to describe elements that function as adverbs or adverbial modifiers in a sentence. These elements provide circumstantial information about the action or state described by the verb, and they can express time, place, manner, cause, purpose, condition, degree, or concession. In practice, adverbiální units can take several forms: single words (adverbs), adverbial phrases, or adverbial clauses.
