Abnahmeprüfung, often translated as acceptance testing or final inspection, is a crucial step in many processes, particularly in project management, construction, and manufacturing. It signifies the formal acceptance of a product, service, or completed work by the client or stakeholder. This testing phase ensures that the delivered item meets all the specified requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.

The primary purpose of an Abnahmeprüfung is to verify functionality, performance, and adherence to specifications. It acts as a final quality check before the formal handover and payment. During the inspection, designated individuals, often representing the client, meticulously examine the deliverables.
