Abkhazian
Abkhazian refers to people from Abkhazia or things related to the region. Abkhazia is a de facto independent republic in the Caucasus region, recognized by most countries as part of Georgia. The Abkhaz people are an ethnic group indigenous to Abkhazia, speaking the Abkhaz language, which belongs to the Northwest Caucasian language family. Their culture is distinct, with unique traditions in music, dance, and cuisine. Historically, Abkhazia has been a crossroads of various empires and cultures, influencing its present-day identity. The region's political status remains a subject of international debate, impacting the lives and identity of its inhabitants, including those of Abkhazian origin both within and outside Abkhazia. The term can also describe the Abkhaz language itself, or anything originating from or characteristic of the Abkhazian territory and its people.
