Aberfraw
Aberfraw is a village and community located on the island of Anglesey in Wales. It lies on the west coast of the island, near the River Aberffraw, which empties into the Irish Sea. Historically, Aberfraw was a significant royal centre, particularly during the Welsh Princes' era. It served as the seat of the Kingdom of Gwynedd for a considerable period. Archaeological evidence suggests settlement in the area dating back to the Bronze Age, with more substantial evidence of Viking presence and activity in the early medieval period.
The village itself is small and retains a rural character. It is known for its picturesque setting
The church of Saint Beuno in Aberfraw is a Grade I listed building and a key landmark.
