ASPRS

ASPRS, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, is a professional organization that serves the geospatial information science community. Founded in 1934 as the American Society of Photogrammetry, it expanded to include remote sensing and adopted its current name to reflect the broader scope of its work. The organization promotes education, standards, and professional development for practitioners, researchers, and students.

ASPRS activities include a peer‑reviewed journal, Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing (PE&RS), and various publications, conferences, and technical resources.
