ADPglukoosin

ADPglukoosin is a naturally occurring molecule that plays a crucial role in plant metabolism. Its full chemical name is adenosine diphosphate glucose. ADPglukoosin is primarily involved in the synthesis of starch, a major storage polysaccharide in plants, and also in the synthesis of sucrose, a transport sugar.

The synthesis of ADPglukoosin is catalyzed by the enzyme ADP-glucose pyrophosphorylase. This enzyme uses adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and glucose-1-phosphate as substrates.
