34364
34364 is a minor planet in the asteroid belt, located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It was discovered on October 14, 1999, by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth-Object Search (LONEOS) at Anderson Mesa Station. The asteroid is approximately 3.5 kilometers in diameter and has an orbital period of about 3.6 Earth years. It follows an elliptical orbit with a semi-major axis of 2.37 astronomical units (AU) and an eccentricity of 0.24. The orbital inclination of 34364 is 11.7 degrees relative to the ecliptic plane. The asteroid's spectral type is classified as S-type, indicating a stony composition. Due to its relatively small size and average distance from the Sun, 34364 does not pose any significant threat to Earth. It is named after the year of its discovery, 1999.
