138148
138148 is a minor planet in the outer region of the asteroid belt, approximately 10 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 24 September 2000, by astronomers of the Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research at the Lincoln Laboratory's ETS near Socorro, New Mexico. The Minor Planet Center has assigned it the provisional designation 2000 SV108. It orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.8-3.4 AU once every 5 years and 5 months (1,990 days). Its orbit has an eccentricity of 0.11 and an inclination of 11 degrees with respect to the ecliptic. The first precovery was taken at Palomar Observatory in 1954, extending the asteroid's observation arc by 46 years prior to its official discovery observation at Socorro.
