Ümbermõõdul
Ümbermõõdul is an Estonian term that translates to "circumference" in English. It refers to the continuous line forming the boundary of a closed geometric figure. For a circle, the circumference is the distance around its perimeter. The formula to calculate the circumference of a circle is C = πd, where C represents the circumference, π (pi) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159, and d is the diameter of the circle (the distance across the circle through its center). Alternatively, if the radius (r), which is half the diameter, is known, the formula can be expressed as C = 2πr.
The concept of ümbermõõdul is not limited to circles. For other shapes, such as polygons, the ümbermõõdul
