Úszókapcsoló

Úszókapcsoló is a Hungarian term that translates to "float switch" in English. It is a type of electrical switch that is activated by the level of a liquid. The most common type of úszókapcsoló consists of a float that rises and falls with the liquid level. Attached to the float is a lever or mechanism that actuates a switch at a specific liquid level. When the liquid reaches a certain point, the float rises, triggering the switch. Conversely, when the liquid level drops, the float descends, deactivating the switch.

Úszókapcsolók are widely used in various applications to control pumps, valves, and alarms. In domestic settings, they are frequently found in sump pumps to prevent basement flooding, where they automatically turn on the pump when water accumulates and turn it off when the water level recedes. They are also used in water tanks to maintain a desired water level, preventing overflow or ensuring a sufficient supply. In industrial settings, úszókapcsolók play a role in controlling fluid levels in storage tanks, process vessels, and wastewater treatment systems. They can be configured to operate in either normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) modes, depending on whether the switch is intended to close or open the circuit when the float is in a certain position.
