Återhållningskraft

Återhållningskraft is a Swedish term that translates to "restraining force" or "holding back force" in English. It refers to any force that opposes or limits the movement or action of another object or system. This concept is fundamental in physics and engineering, appearing in various contexts.

In mechanics, återhållningskraft can describe the friction between two surfaces, the tension in a rope holding a weight, or the force exerted by a spring to return to its original position. It is a force that prevents acceleration or maintains a state of equilibrium.
