ÁFASzám is the Hungarian term for Value Added Tax (VAT) identification number. It is a unique code assigned to businesses registered for VAT in Hungary. This number is crucial for businesses operating within Hungary and engaging in trade with other EU member states. The ÁFASzám consists of a country code (HU) followed by a series of digits.

Businesses are required to display their ÁFASzám on invoices, official documents, and their websites if they are VAT registered.
