Üzemanyagrendszerek refer to the systems within an internal combustion engine responsible for storing, delivering, and atomizing fuel to the combustion chamber. These systems are crucial for engine operation, dictating performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions.

In gasoline engines, the most common types of fuel systems are carbureted and fuel-injected. Carbureted systems use a carburetor to mix air and fuel before it enters the engine. This method is simpler but less precise than fuel injection. Modern gasoline engines predominantly use fuel injection systems, where injectors precisely spray fuel directly into the intake manifold or the combustion chamber itself. This allows for much finer control over the air-fuel mixture, leading to improved efficiency and reduced emissions.

Diesel engines also utilize fuel injection systems, but they operate differently. Diesel fuel is injected directly into the combustion chamber at very high pressures, and ignition occurs due to the heat generated by compression. Common rail diesel injection is a prevalent technology, where fuel is stored in a common rail at high pressure before being injected into each cylinder through electronically controlled injectors.

The primary components of a fuel system include the fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel lines, and either a carburetor or fuel injectors. The fuel pump draws fuel from the tank and delivers it under pressure through the fuel lines. The fuel filter removes impurities that could clog or damage the system. Finally, the carburetor or injectors precisely meter and atomize the fuel for optimal combustion. Maintenance of the fuel system, particularly regular fuel filter changes, is essential for maintaining engine performance and longevity.
