ülevaatlikule
Ülevaatlikule is the allative singular form of the Estonian adjective ülevaatlik. The base adjective ülevaatlik conveys readability, clarity, and ease of viewing, and it is used to describe information, visuals, or design that is meant to be easy to read or understand. The form ülevaatlikule occurs when the adjective modifies a noun in the allative case, a construction common in Estonian when indicating direction toward or toward a target of the action, such as in phrases like ülevaatlikule esitlusele (“to a clear presentation”) or ülevaatlikule vaatele (“to a clear overview”). In ordinary prose, the noun is typically declined in its own case while the adjective agrees in number and case; examples include ülevaatliku esitluse (genitive) or ülevaatlik esitluse (nominative). The word is primarily used in formal, technical, or design-focused writing, where the aim is to emphasize readability and visual clarity.
Etymology: The adjective is formed with the prefix üle-, the stem vaat- derived from vaatama (to look)
