ízérzékelésért

ízérzékelésért is a Hungarian term that translates to "for taste perception" or "for the sense of taste" in English. It refers to the biological process by which we detect and interpret flavors. This complex sense is mediated by specialized sensory cells called taste receptors, primarily located on the tongue, but also present in the mouth and throat. These receptors are organized into taste buds.

When food or drink comes into contact with the tongue, molecules dissolve in saliva and bind to these taste receptors. Different types of receptors are responsible for detecting the five basic tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.
