Inyvonal is a term used in veterinary dentistry to describe the junction between the enamel and cementum on a tooth. This line is a crucial anatomical landmark, indicating the boundary of the tooth's protective outer layers. In healthy teeth, the gingiva, or gums, rests at or slightly coronal to the inyvonal.
