Újraalfoszforilás, a biological process, refers to the rephosphorylation of a molecule that has previously undergone dephosphorylation. In biochemical terms, this involves the addition of a phosphate group back to a molecule, typically a protein or a metabolite, after it has lost one. This cyclical process is fundamental to the regulation of many cellular activities, as phosphorylation and dephosphorylation act as switches that control protein activity, signal transduction pathways, and metabolic flux.

The enzymes responsible for phosphorylation are kinases, which catalyze the transfer of a phosphate group from a high-energy donor molecule, such as adenosine triphosphate (ATP), to a substrate.
