Wiy is a coastal city in the southern region of the fictional continent of Theranis. It is depicted as a major port and mercantile hub from the late third to the early first millennium BCE. The name is thought to derive from a regional term for harbor, though etymology varies by source.

Located on a natural harbor along the Wiyian Gulf, the city was built around a sheltered bay with quays, granaries, and repair yards. Markets and workshops extended from the waterfront toward inland caravan routes.

Settlement begins around 2800–2600 BCE. Wiy rose as a trading node linking inland producers with seafaring fleets, reaching peak urbanization in the mid-Bronze Age. Later, earthquakes and invasions contributed to a gradual decline into the Iron Age.

Wiyite society appears polytheistic, with deities of sea, trade, and harvest. Artifacts include pottery and metalwork. The economy centered on long-distance trade in ceramics, timber, metals, and wine, supplemented by local crafts and storage facilities.

Archaeology since the 19th century has uncovered harbor basins, temple precincts, and undeciphered inscriptions in a local script. Today, Wiy remains a focal point for studies of maritime exchange in Theranis, and the term Wiy denotes a broader cultural horizon in some classifications.
