Väyläkirjastot, meaning "channel libraries" or "gateway libraries" in English, is a collaborative project involving Finnish libraries. It is a shared online library service that allows users to access materials and services from multiple participating libraries through a single interface. The core idea behind väyläkirjastot is to broaden access to library resources for patrons, regardless of which specific library within the network they are affiliated with.

When a user searches the väyläkirjasto system, the search queries are sent to all participating libraries. The results are then compiled and presented to the user in a unified list. Reservations and renewals can also typically be managed through this common platform.
