Videókészítés is the Hungarian term for video production. It encompasses the entire process of creating a video, from initial concept to the final edited product. This process can be broadly divided into three main stages: pre-production, production, and post-production.

Pre-production involves all the planning and preparation before filming begins. This includes developing the video's idea or concept, writing a script or outline, storyboarding scenes, scouting locations, casting actors or presenters if necessary, and assembling the production crew and equipment. Thorough pre-production is crucial for ensuring a smooth and efficient filming process.

Production, often referred to as shooting or filming, is the stage where the actual video content is captured. This involves operating cameras, recording audio, managing lighting, and directing actors or subjects according to the pre-production plan. The quality of the footage and audio recorded during this phase significantly impacts the final video's quality.

Post-production is the phase where the raw footage and audio are assembled, refined, and enhanced. Key activities include editing the video clips, adding transitions, incorporating visual effects and graphics, color correction, sound mixing, and adding music or voiceovers. The final output is then rendered and exported in a suitable format for distribution. Videókészítés can range from simple home videos to complex professional projects for film, television, advertising, or online platforms.
