Velallisiin is an ancient Sumerian city located in the state of Dohuk, rural Iraq. The site is situated in the foothills of the Zagros Mountains, near the modern town of Velallisi. It was an important urban center in Sumeria, specifically in the Nuzi region, during the Old Babylonian Period.

Excavations at Velallisiin date back to the 1930s. The archaeological site reveals evidence of continuous occupation from the Early Dynastic Period to the Early Dynastic-III to the Allac Deposit. The excavations have yielded numerous artifacts, including tablets inscribed with cuneiform script, pottery, tools, and architectural remains.

The city has been identified as Nenos, a city known from the Nuzi tablets. This identification is significant, as the Nuzi tablets provide valuable insights into the politics and trade of the region during the 15th and 14th centuries BCE. The site has also yielded a Epic of Gilgamesh tablet, which provides information about the Epic's textual history.

Architectural investigations at Velallisiin have revealed a city featuring a grid-like urban layout, with multiple temples, shrines, and palaces. Some of the notable structures include the Main Temple, the Palace of Arin-Tin[ip], the Temple of Shulli, and the Palace Temple of Shulgi. The city's water supply system consisted of a network of canals and irrigation channels.
