tuszczowe

Tuszczowe is an adjective in Polish used to denote relation to fat or lipids. The standard spellings are tłuszczowy (masc.), tłuszczowa (fem.), and tłuszczowe (neut./plural). Tuszczowe appears primarily as a nonstandard spelling when diacritics are omitted, but some texts use it in the same sense as tłuszczowy.

In biology, tłuszczowe describes adipose tissue and fat-containing structures, for example subcutaneous and visceral fat. Adipose tissue stores energy, provides thermal insulation, cushions organs, and acts as an endocrine organ by secreting adipokines. In chemistry and nutrition, tłuszczowe refers to fats and lipids, including fatty acids (kwasy tłuszczowe) and triglycerides. In food labeling, items may be described as tłuszczowe to indicate high fat content.
