tetradecagons

A tetradecagon is a polygon with fourteen sides and fourteen vertices. The word "tetradecagon" is derived from Greek, with "tetradeka" meaning fourteen and "gonia" meaning corner or angle. Like all polygons, a tetradecagon is a two-dimensional closed shape made up of straight line segments.

In a regular tetradecagon, all fourteen sides are of equal length, and all fourteen interior angles are equal. The measure of each interior angle in a regular tetradecagon can be calculated using the formula (n-2) * 180 / n, where n is the number of sides. For a tetradecagon, this would be (14-2) * 180 / 14, resulting in an angle of approximately 154.29 degrees. The sum of the interior angles of any tetradecagon, regular or irregular, is always 1800 degrees.

The exterior angles of a regular tetradecagon each measure 360 / 14 degrees, which is approximately 25.71 degrees. The sum of the exterior angles of any convex polygon, including a tetradecagon, is always 360 degrees.

A tetradecagon can be convex or concave. In a convex tetradecagon, all interior angles are less than 180 degrees, and all diagonals lie entirely within the polygon. In a concave tetradecagon, at least one interior angle is greater than 180 degrees, and at least one diagonal lies partially or entirely outside the polygon.
