Talletusta is a Finnish term describing the act or result of depositing money or other assets into an account or storage facility. It is related to talletus, which denotes the deposit or storage itself, and talletusta appears as one inflected form in Finnish grammar.

In banking and finance, talletus refers to money placed in a bank or financial institution. In Finland, deposits are protected by the Talletussuojarahasto (Deposit Guarantee Fund) up to 100,000 euros per depositor per bank. The scheme aims to provide financial stability and consumer confidence in case a bank encounters difficulties.

Beyond financial uses, talletus can also denote storage or saving of data, documents, or physical items in non-financial contexts, such as information systems, libraries, or archives.
