Stxgeenien is a genus of bacteria from the family Enterobacteriaceae. It was first described in 2016 and is named after the St. Xavier University in Ohio, where the initial research was conducted. The genus includes two known species, Stxgeenien sp. 1 and Stxgeenien sp. 2, both of which are facultative anaerobic, Gram-negative, rod-shaped bacteria.
