silvernitridi
Silver nitride refers to a group of chemical compounds formed between silver and nitrogen. The most well-known and commonly encountered silver nitride is silver(I) nitride, with the chemical formula Ag3N. This compound is highly unstable and sensitive to shock and friction, leading to its explosive decomposition. Due to its extreme instability, silver(I) nitride is rarely intentionally synthesized and is primarily of theoretical interest or encountered as an undesired byproduct in certain chemical reactions involving silver and nitrogen-containing species.
Another silver nitride, silver(II) nitride, is theoretically possible but has not been definitively isolated or characterized.
