setpointsäätö
Setpoint control, or setpointti control in Finnish, is a fundamental concept in control engineering and automation. It refers to a method where a system's output is maintained at a desired value, known as the setpoint, by adjusting one or more input variables. The system continuously compares its current output (measured value) to the target setpoint. If there is a difference, called an error, a controller generates a signal to manipulate the input variable in order to reduce this error and bring the output back to the setpoint.
