Sejtmagjának is a Hungarian term that translates to "nucleus of a cell" or "cell nucleus" in English. The cell nucleus is a membrane-bound organelle that contains the genetic material of eukaryotic cells. This genetic material, in the form of DNA, is organized into chromosomes. The nucleus plays a crucial role in controlling the cell's growth, metabolism, and reproduction.

The nucleus is enclosed by a double membrane called the nuclear envelope, which separates its contents from the cytoplasm. This envelope is perforated by nuclear pores, which regulate the passage of molecules between the nucleus and the cytoplasm.
