scriveste
Scriveste is a commune in the Ariège department in the Occitanie region of southwestern France. It is part of the larger intercommunal structure of the Pays d'Olmes and is situated within the foothills of the Pyrenees. The village lies approximately 20 kilometers north of Foix, the departmental capital, and is accessible via the departmental road D357. The commune covers an area of about 12.5 square kilometres and features a varied landscape of gently sloping hills, scrubland, and the stream that gives rise to the Séran river.
