Scifisarjat is a Finnish term used to refer to science fiction television series and similar serialized media. The word combines the English loanword scifi (science fiction) with sarja, the Finnish word for series. In Finnish media and online discourse, scifisarjat describe programs that build speculative worlds and feature futuristic technology, space travel, time manipulation, or encounters with aliens, typically presented in episodic or serialized formats across multiple seasons.

Most scifisarjat are produced for television or streaming platforms, and they can range from traditional space opera to more intimate near-future dramas. Common storytelling approaches include ongoing narrative arcs across seasons, standalone episodes with recurring ideas, or hybrid forms that mix science fiction with thriller, fantasy, or detective elements.
