Ryggmärgsvätska, also known as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), is a clear, colorless fluid that fills the space between the meninges, the protective membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord. It is produced by specialized cells called choroid plexuses located within the ventricles of the brain. This fluid acts as a cushion, protecting the central nervous system from physical shock and injury.
