Ruokaketjulle, often translated as "food chain" in English, refers to the sequence of organisms in an ecosystem where each organism is eaten by the next organism in the chain. This concept illustrates the flow of energy and nutrients through an environment. These producers are then consumed by primary consumers, which are herbivores. Secondary consumers, which are carnivores or omnivores, eat the primary consumers.
