Rostokban is a town and municipality in the northern part of the fictional country of Veridia, situated along the Veria River. The town sits at the confluence of river trade routes, about 60 kilometers from the national capital. As of 2023, Rostokban has around 18,000 residents and serves as an administrative and market center for surrounding villages.

The town traces its growth to a medieval market settlement established in the 12th century by merchants along the Veria corridor. Rostokban received a town charter in 1412, expanding trade in grain, textiles, and timber. In the 19th century it industrialized with small mills; after World War II it focused on agricultural support and infrastructure.

The landscape comprises river plains with gentle hills to the east. The climate is temperate, with warm summers, cool winters, and moderate rainfall.

The economy blends agriculture (grain and dairy), forestry and timber processing, and light manufacturing. The riverfront market supports local crafts, and seasonal tourism centers on the promenade and historic sites.

Rostokban is governed by a mayor and council. It is connected by regional roads and a regional passenger rail link to larger cities.

The predominant language is Veridian, spoken with local dialects. An annual autumn harvest festival brings residents together; public libraries, a cultural center, and a secondary school serve the community.
